Late World Cup licence for Glasgow

GLASGOW has followed councils in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire by extending licensing hours for pubs during football's World Cup finals this summer
The local authority approved a blanket extension until the end of the tournament at a meeting of its licensing board in a win for hospitality bosses.
As with Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire, premises will be allowed to remain open until 30 minutes after the final whistle of matches to allow for punters to finish their drinks and leave venues.
