Keen Hibs ensured this was best deal for Josh

JOSH MULLIGAN admitted it was a no-brainer switching to Hibs from Dundee.

The midfielder knocked back a new contract at Dens Park to sign a four-year deal at Easter Road, with the clubs yet to agree a compensation package.
Mulligan had interest from Rangers and held talks with several other Premiership rivals but admitted Hibs had always been the first team at the table.
The 22-year-old said: “I am delighted, it has been a long time coming but it has been worth the wait.
“I am buzzing to be here and I can’t wait to get going.
“I can’t explain how happy I am to be here.
“I just want to get going.
“Hibs were the first team to show interest and that is a good sign. There were a few other teams but playing against Hibs last season and seeing how good they were and run, it was a no-brainer for me.
“There are loads of good players in the squad but the way they were playing with each other and the way they played impressed me most.
“It is something I want to be a part of going forward.”
Meanwhile, David Gray has admitted Hibs pushed the boat out to keep Rocky Bushiri because he has still to hit his peak potential.
