Kate revels in V&A box of delights

THE capital’s latest artistic tourist attraction cast a spell over the Princess of Wales yesterday.

Kate was given a two-hour tour of the newly opened V&A East Storehouse and booked five exhibits to have a closer look at in a public viewing room.

Wearing a chic navy suit by Alexander McQueen, the royal arrived at the attraction on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford to little fanfare, as Kensington Palace had kept the visit under wraps.

But members of the public visiting the three-storey attraction were stunned to see the VIP, quickly taking out their phones to snap pictures as the princess entered the vast Weston Collections Hall.
