DUNDEE UNITED boss Jim Goodwin has admitted honest Yevhenii Kucherenko is hurting from his recent howlers.

- BY SCOTT BURNS

The keeper, right, had another afternoon to forget as his high-profile errors cost his side in their 3-0 weekend defeat to Falkirk.

It remains to be seen if Goodwin sticks by Kucherenko for the trip to Kilmarnock or turns to backup Dave Richards, who impressed at the end of last season.

Goodwin confirmed: “He's hurting. He's an honest enough fella to know that he’s made mistakes. That's it.

“The nature of his position is that those mistakes ultimately lead to goals for the opposition.

There's a lot else going on within the goals, it should be said.
