Murphy banned from driving for 20 months
OISIN MURPHY admitted "there is no excuse for what I did" after pleading guilty to drink driving at Reading Magistrates Court yesterday.
The four-time champion jockey was banned from driving for 20 months and fined £70,000 as a result of a crash that left a female hospitalised passenger with spinal injuries.
Murphy was at the wheel when a Mercedes A Class Murphy hit a tree in Hermitage, Berkshire, in April.
