STUART ARMSTRONG is solely focused on getting Jimmy Thelin's Aberdeen firing again, and hasn't even considered a Scotland recall.
The midfielder moved to Pittodrie as a free agent, the day after the transfer window closed.
But it hasn't exactly been a happy homecoming, as Aberdeen have still to win a game and, in his two starts, they have lost to Motherwell in the Premier Sports Cup and to Dundee United in the Premiership.
Those results have heaped the pressure on manager Thelin, just months after he lifted the Scottish Cup.
Armstrong is keen to try and relieve the pressure with some long, overdue wins, starting with the weekend visit to Motherwell in the league.
