Hunt after cop injured in hit-and-run

A MANHUNT is underway after a police officer was the victim of a hit-and-run.
The officer, whose name has not been revealed by Police Scotland, is said to be in a stable condition in hospital.
The horrific incident took place in Dumfries in the early hours of yesterday morning.
Police were called to help a member of the public shortly after midnight.
