Hospital worker slept in operating room

A HEALTH worker slept in an operating theatre having had anaesthetic gas when he should have been helping at an emergency procedure, a disciplinary tribunal has heard.
Troy Butler was said to be “desperate for sleep”. The operating section practitioner did not attend a 1am op and was found by a colleague who had to clap to wake him.
