Ipswich still McKenna's priority as Celts connection surfaces amid manager hunt
KIERAN McKENNA admits he is a Celtic fan - but the Hoops hotseat is not on his radar as there's been no move from Parkhead chiefs yet.
The Ipswich Town manager is one of a number of names being considered by the Celtic board along with Wales gaffer Craig Bellamy - following Brendan Rodgers' shock departure on Monday night.
Former boss Ange Postecoglou is understood to be unlikely to join the race with the Aussie taking time out following his quickfire sacking at Nottingham Forest.
The Hoops have been keeping tabs on McKenna for a while now, with the 39-year-old building a strong reputation south of the border as a boss following coaching stints at Tottenham and Manchester United.
The Irishman is on bumper wages at Portland Road, however, and would cost Celts a cool £5million in compensation.
But McKenna insisted there have been no talks kicked off behind the scenes over an exit.
He said: "It's not something I've given any thought to and where, you know, any part of my concentration is this week to be honest.
