Lewis sings praises of Ferrari's new rear wing which he tips to fire a title challenge
LEWIS HAMILTON hopes to dance into title contention this year with the help of Ferrari's new ‘Macarena’ rear wing.
The seven-time champ thinks Ferrari can push Mercedes hard this season after an encouraging start to the new Formula One season in Melbourne last Sunday.
And the Scuderia has wasted no time developing the SF-26, with upgrades ready for round two in Shanghai this weekend.
Hamilton confirmed that Ferrari have brought the new spec rear wing to China. The aerodynamic trick turned heads in preseason testing when it flipped upside down at high speeds.
Dubbed the ‘Macarena’ wing, after the '90s dance craze, it could help Ferrari match Mercedes fearsome engines down the Shanghai International Circuit's long 1.2km back straight.
