CELTIC defender Cameron Carter-Vickers won't complain about travelling halfway across the globe in vain if it means starring at a home World Cup next summer.
With the United States one of three co-hosts alongside neighbours Canada and Mexico, the 27-year-old will do whatever it takes to show national manager Mauricio Pochettino he should remain in his plans for the 2026 finals.
Carter-Vickers returned to Glasgow to prepare for tomorrow's trip to face Dundee having failed to add to his 19 caps, with the centre-half kept on the bench for the friendly doubleheader against Australia in Colorado and Ecuador in Texas.
