Fizzy pop toll on teen footballers

REGULAR consumption of fizzy and energy drinks could be causing tooth decay and gum disease in teenage professional footballers.
A study by University College London found that of 160 players aged 16-18 across 10 English clubs, 76.8% suffered from gingivitis, a mild form of gum disease.
