AN obsessed serial stalker of TV presenter Emily Maitlis has been jailed for five years after breaching a restraining order by sending the star and her parents letters from prison.

Edward Vines, 55, was “distraught” that his friendship with Ms Maitlis ended after he said he loved her while they were at university at Cambridge, a court heard.
