A FORMER footballer living with MND will join other players on a charity walk this weekend to raise funds for research into the devastating condition.
The Scottish March of the Day is a three-day challenge in which participants visit 21 football grounds along a 150-mile route.

The event was inspired by footballers Marcus Stewart and Stephen Darby, both of whom have been diagnosed with MND.
It is also being held in memory of Scottish rugby legend Doddie Weir, who died in 2022 after a long fight with the neurological disease. The walkers will set off from Motherwell’s Fir Park tomorrow and finish at Murrayfield in Edinburgh on Sunday.
It will include stops at Hampden Park, Ibrox, Celtic Park and the grounds of St Mirren, Falkirk, Hibernian and Heart of Midlothian.
