Excellence and achievement..the King hails Cavalry

THE King told the Household Cavalry they are of “crucial importance” in the face of global uncertainty as he attended the Standards Parade yesterday.

Wearing his Field Marshal's Uniform and accompanied by his sister Princess Anne, Charles underscored the values of duty, honour and tradition at the event at Windsor Castle.

At the parade new Standards — ceremonial flags — were presented to the Life Guards and the Blues and Royals, the two most senior regiments in the British Army.
