'Double standards' as Regan suspended

ASH REGAN has been suspended from Holyrood for two days after breaking the MSP code of conduct - the same day Angela Constance was given a slap on the wrist for breaching the ministerial code.

Punishment
MSP. Former Alba Party representative Ms Regan was in the dock for publicly revealing she complained about Maggie Chapman branding Supreme Court judges “bigots”.
It followed the landmark gender ruling when they decided “sex,” “man,” and “woman” in the Equality Act 2010 (EA 2010) refer to biological sex, not gender identity. Allies of Ms Regan had branded the unprecedented punishment “absurd” and accused parliamentary officials of “double standards”. In two previous cases where MSPs revealed they made complaints about fellow politicians, there was no punishment.
