Doctors claim ageing IT is bad for health service

GP leaders in Scotland claim their profession is in crisis aggravated by ageing computers.
Holyrood’s Public Audit Committee heard some doctors were stuck with servers that were more than two decades old.
MSPs were told that the infamous “8am rush” of patients trying to book appointments could not be addressed until capacity was improved. And potentially hundreds of skilled GPs now find themselves under-employed.
