Coked-up company boss killed woman in horror smash

A COMPANY director who had taken cocaine killed a woman in a horrific car smash.

Christopher Lynn was behind the wheel of his Ford Ranger pickup when he ploughed into the back of a vehicle driven by Yvonne Nichol.

Comedown

The impact sent her Vauxhall Astra into the path of on an oncoming car.

Yvonne, who was 64, was fatally injured in the crash on the A7 Edinburgh-Carlisle road near Ashkirk in the Borders in August 2023.

Yesterday, the 32-year-old first offender pleaded guilty at the High Court in Glasgow to a charge of causing death by dangerous driving.

He faces a lengthy jail term when he is sentenced later this month.
