CHRIS CADDEN is desperate to finally pull on a Hibs shirt in European competition — at the third time of asking.
The right wing-back has been at Easter Road nearly four-and-a-half years but was injured for the continental campaigns in 2021 and 2023.
That saw the ex-Motherwell ace miss out on five European ties - including 2023's glamour Conference League playoff matches against Aston Villa.
Now the Hibees are heading overseas again as they prepare for the first leg of their Europa League second qualifying round tie against Midtjylland in Denmark on Thursday evening.
And Cadden is keeping his fingers crossed he'll at long last get the chance to experience European football for himself.
He said: “I thought I was jinxed, to be honest, as I missed the last two times in Europe through injury.
“So, personally, it will be good to play in Europe. I’ve ambitions and when you sign for a club like Hibs that’s what you want to do.
