Chagos decision 'not just an act of stupidity but complete self-sabotage'

KEMI Badenoch said Sir Keir Starmer is “out of his depth” on the world stage after Donald Trump humiliated the PM over his surrender of the Chagos Islands.

Chagos decision 'not just an act of stupidity but complete self-sabotage'

The Tory leader said the US President was “dead right” to accuse him of “great stupidity” for handing the Indian Ocean isles to Mauritius. She writes in the Express: “His Labour government are out of their depth in the new international order.”

Mrs Badenoch also warned that the Prime Minister has put British security in jeopardy by giving the go-ahead to a Chinese mega-embassy in the heart of London.

She claimed that Labour “are weak in a world that increasingly cares only about strength”, adding: “Keir Starmer’s decision is not just an act of stupidity...but also an act of complete self-sabotage.”

Her attack came as Mr Trump lost patience with Sir Keir over his resistance to the president’s attempt to seize Greenland and unleashed a social media onslaught which left the US-UK “special relationship” hanging by a thread. As dramatic developments continued at breakneck speed yesterday, the Premier risked provoking Mr Trump further by approving Beijing’s new mission building despite fears over UK security.

Having read his explosive Insta post I felt something weird about Brooklyn... pity

I ALWAYS had Brooklyn Beckham down as a thick, spoiled, entitled nepo baby — the kind of young man who, thank God, was born into huge wealth and privilege, because it was clear he wasn’t equipped to make his own way in the world.
