CRUNCHY leaves, being cosy under a blanket and warming cold hands on a takeaway coffee cup are things people love about autumn, a poll found.

Of 5,000 adults, 28% said that as the season shifts, they become a "cosy comfort seeker".

Some 31% turn to hearty food, 21% love curling up with a good book and 20% like walking with a hot drink.
