Brexit fury over call for EU pact to fight migrants

FURY erupted after Sir Keir Starmer's Brexit reset minister called for a "next level" UK-EU security pact.
Nick Thomas-Symonds said the escalating migration crisis on the bloc's eastern borders should speed up the two sides' move towards agreeing a security and defence deal.
It comes as the Chancellor Rachel Reeves joined European finance ministers in Poland to discuss a joint defence fund. The plans, put forward by a Brussels-based economic think tank called Bruegel, would allow nations to pay to use the equipment.
