Big drive to auction £4k 'Golfinger' ball

A GOLF ball that was used by Goldfinger author Ian Fleming is tipped to sell for £4,000.
More than 100 years old, it is a prime example of the traditional "feathery" ball - a stitched, painted leather sack full of boiled goose feathers.
It was owned by Cyril Whiting who followed his dad Albert to be club pro at Royal St George's in Sandwich, Kent, from 1971 to 1989.
