Bhoys need more Daiz with star

ARNE ENGELS hopes Celtic can keep Daizen Maeda under lock and key until the transfer window shuts.

The Hoops have begun contract extension talks with the speedster, who is being tracked by Brentford, as well as several other clubs in England and across the continent.

Maeda, above, was at his best in Saturday's 4-0 demolition of Newcastle as Brendan Rodgers' side upped the preseason gears.

Rodgers snapped up hitman Shin Yamada at the weekend but is still looking to add more firepower.

And Engels reckons keeping player of the year Maeda - with 33 goals last term - would be huge.
