BANK ON BOJAN TO SMASH IT

STEVE AGNEW is convinced Bojan Miovski has what it takes to fire in the goals regularly for Rangers.

- BY SCOTT MCDERMOTT

The former Aberdeen assistant rates the North Macedonia striker so highly, he even gave Manchester City a glowing reference after his time at Pittodrie.

That helped Miovski secure a dream £6million move from the Granite City to La Liga side Girona.

Having struggled for game time in Spain, the 26-year-old is now at Rangers and finally looks like hitting the goal trail for Danny Rohl’s side.

Miovski bagged a double in Saturday night's 3-0 league win at Kilmarnock.

It was a performance reminiscent of his days with the Dons, where he banged in 44 goals in two seasons.

Agnew reckons he’s one of the best finishers he’s ever worked with - a high bar given his history with the likes of England striker Callum Wilson at Newcastle and Irish ace Shane Long and ex-Ibrox hero Nikica Jelavic at Hull City.
