Sainsbury’s in talks to offload retail giant
ARGOS could be the latest high street name to fall into Chinese hands, it emerged last night.
Owner Sainsbury's is in talks to sell the UK’s second-largest general merchandise retailer to one of China’s biggest outlets.
The supermarket giant has confirmed that it is in discussions with JD.com about selling the business it bought for £1.4billion in 2016.
