EVERYONE seems to be getting on scarily well so far on Channel 4’s WORLDS APART, the intergenerational challenge (feel free to suggest a snappier label for it) which continues tonight (9.15pm).
Do you suppose that was the plan? It’s hard to know for sure with shows like this.
Some of them clearly set out with an agenda — a desperate desire to outrage, for example (that stupid Virgin Island thing springs to mind), or to drive home some lazily obvious, sixth-form political point.
Others seem a bit more open-minded - willing to go with the flow, to let the participants be themselves, however that plays out, and allow events on screen to unfold naturally.
