On Saturday, February 21, 2026, I traveled to New York City with a contingent of NAACP Philadelphia Branch members to attend the National NAACP Annual Meeting. One of the things discussed during the meeting that is so very important is that voter privacy is at risk right now in America. So that's our civics lesson today.

Recent federal actions have raised serious concerns about voter privacy and election interference. Here are some of the key developments:
The FBI raid of the Fulton County election office. The Department of Justice is suing in multiple states seeking access to voter registration data. There has been litigation filed in California, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, New Hampshire, and Pennsylvania.
