The Madras High Court has issued an interim stay on the release of results for the NEET-UG-2025 examination following a petition from several students affected by a power cut at their examination centre in Chennai.
-
Justice V Lakshminarayanan granted the stay on Friday and postponed the case for further hearing on 2 June.
The students claimed that on 4 May, the date of the exam, heavy storms and rainfall caused a power outage from approximately 3.00pm to 4.15pm at PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya CRPF-Avadi, their assigned centre.
