The BJP is set to stage a major protest titled 'Kalaburagi Chalo' in Kalaburagi, demanding the removal of State Minister Priyank Kharge from the Cabinet over the recent incident in Chittapur.

The protest comes in the wake of the 21 May incident, where Congress workers allegedly laid siege to a guest house in Chittapur, - Priyank Kharge’s home constituency - Kalaburagi, where the Leader of Opposition in the State Legislative Council, Chalavadi Narayanswamy, was staying.
