Turkey hotel releases 'truth pictures' after mum's arrest

Georgia Harrison was celebrating her boyfriend's new teeth during a drunken hotel blunder and allegedly left the room 'unusable,' breaking the TV, window and mini bar. Bosses at Lexia Hotel in Antalya has released a number of pictures of the damaged room, which they say took a month to repair and 'reflects the truth against one-sided narratives.

The 32-year-old is still in Turkey after being arrested with her partner following the incident on May 7, after the pair tried to leave the without declaring damages to the room. In a GoFundMe appeal, Georgia admitted damaging the room, saying: "I got drunk and I have somehow smashed the shower screen of the hotel room and damaged the room.

"[It was the] worst mistake of my life. Anyway it's done, I can't change it but wow am I paying for it."

Georgia spoke about her distressing experience of being detained in a Turkish cell among 'hundreds of men' for days until a judge imposed an eye-watering £15,000 fine for the havoc wreaked on the premises. She is currently prohibited from leaving Turkey until she settles the bill for the damages.
