Thought he was 'untouchable' as he posed by cannabis farm
Rochdale Observer
|June 21, 2025
A DRUG dealer who thought he was 'untouchable' pictured himself grinning in front of a huge cannabis farm.
But the violent Rochdale-based crook had the smile wiped off his face when he was sent down for six years.
Officers raided the home of Usman Alam where they discovered cannabis, weighing scales and three mobile phones.
Greater Manchester Police said the phones contained a wealth of evidence that showed overwhelmingly Alam was involved in the supply of cocaine and cannabis over a four-year period.
The 36-year-old also stabbed a dealer who worked on his behalf before threatening to 'bomb' his relatives.
He appeared in Manchester Crown Court on Monday, where he was jailed for more than six years.
Officers stormed Alam's home on January 5, 2022.
On the three phones, they found messages from between 2018 to 2022, showing Alam involved in the supply of a 'wholesale amount of cocaine.
