Rambo's big fundraiser for JT's family

FORMER Dale man Simon Ramsden is aiming to complete 37 hours of consecutive exercise in order to raise money for Joe Thompson's family.

Ramsden was a teammate of Joe in the late 2000s, and the former right-back will undertake a mammoth task in late June to support his close friend.
"I am going to personally complete 37 hours of back-to-back classes on Friday June 27th until Sunday June 29th, to raise as much funds as possible for Joe's family following his passing through cancer earlier this year," commented Ramsden.
"Joe was a special man, and anyone who knows Joe will vouch that he was like no other. He's been a special friend to me - something I will always treasure."
Supporters can donate to the fundraiser via Simon's JustGiving page, with his goal of reaching £3,000 well within sight. See club website for links.
