Hendo nails down fourth-place finish

A SECOND-HALF goal in an impressive away display separated Dale and Solihull Moors, earning us a home play-off tie in the process.
A vintage Ian Henderson finish early in the second-half for his 14th goal of the season ensured of a crucial win on Tuesday evening.
A total of five alterations were made by Jimmy McNulty to Saturday’s game with Kyle Ferguson, Jack Kingdon, Jili Buyabu, Jay Bird and Kairo Mitchell all getting the nod.
Dale had the first shot in anger on four minutes and a brilliant effort it was from captain Kyron Gordon who strode forward and whipped one from 30 yards which forced Laurie Walker into an early save as he tipped over.
Within the first 15 minutes, Dale possessed much of the early attacking intent with Bird and Aidan Barlow both having efforts. Bird’s shot outside the box flew over with Barlow placing one towards the corner which was palmed wide.
