Girl died after 'running into road'

A SIX year-old girl playing outside 'ran out into the road' before she was hit by a vehicle and died, a coroner was told as an inquest into her death was formally opened on Thursday.
She can be named for the first time today as Myra Tahseen after the tragedy in Rochdale.
Rochdale Coroner's Court heard schoolgirl Myra was 'playing at the front of her home address' when she then 'ran out into the road'.
She was 'struck' by a vehicle, believed to be a Range Rover, and suffered serious injuries, it was said.
Greater Manchester Police confirmed emergency services were called to Ashfield Road in Rochdale at around 5.35pm on Monday, April 28, following reports of the collision.
