Ex-Corrie star speaks out about her skin condition

FORMER Coronation Street star Georgia May Foote has been flooded with support after speaking out about her “tough” experience with a skin condition.
The actress, who played Katy Armstrong in the ITV soap, has been open about her struggles with the long-term condition vitiligo after developing it in 2020.
Vitiligo is caused by a lack of melanin pigment in the skin and those that have it develop white patches on their body.
This week, Georgia, who heartbreakingly lost her business in a devastating storage unit fire in Middleton last week, reflected on her “crazy” journey living with the skin condition to work World Vitiligo Day.
