FAMILY PAY LOVING TRIBUTE TO MAN WHO TRAGICALLY DIED IN HELICOPTER CRASH
THE family of a man who died following a helicopter crash have released a tribute to him.
Peter Smith, aged 70, suffered serious injuries in the crash and despite the efforts of medical staff, he was pronounced dead at the scene in Bentley, Doncaster.
The pilot, a 41-year-old man, and two other passengers, a 58-year-old woman and a ten-year-old boy, received minor injuries.
The aircraft departed from Gamston Airport at 10am on Thursday, October 30, before plummeting into a field near Ings Road just seven minutes into its journey.
Police were called to Ings Road, along with other emergency services.
