Main Punjab bolda... When my rivers rose in fury, and my fertile fields disappeared under murky waters, one truth shone brighter than the floodlights of any disaster management team: I, Punjab, survive because | stand for myself.

Yet, what overshadows this collective struggle is the painful inaction of the Centre. When the rivers swallowed our fields and homes, when mothers clutched hungry children to their chests, and when the old and infirm cried for help, there was no hand stretched from Delhi. Forget swift relief, even a hollow tweet of concern never came. No declaration of support, no urgent measures, only a cold indifference that deepened our wounds. In contrast, it was the NDRF jawans, the state officials, and above all, my own farmers, villagers, youth, and women who rose with courage and humanity. They became the real lifeline, proving once again that the spirit of the people is stronger than the apathy of those who rule from afar.
