The longstanding hopes and expectations of the people of Bhadaur were finally fulfilled when five MBBS doctors took charge of the vacant posts at the Government Hospital, Bhadaur.

It is noteworthy that during the tenure of the Akali-BJP government, a list of 100 hospitals was prepared to be equipped with modern facilities. Unfortunately, Bhadaur was excluded from this list and instead, Tapa Mandi of Barnala district was included. As a result, the Government Hospital, Bhadaur, was reduced to being a hospital in name only. Since then, the residents of Bhadaur had been demanding that the vacant posts of doctors be filled so that they would not have to run to other hospitals. Earlier, in emergency cases, patients had to be referred either to Tapa Mandi or to the Civil Hospital, Barnala. Now, with this long-pending demand fulfilled
