Efforts by Sampradai Kar Sewa Sarhali Sahib to Strengthen Weak Embankments of River Beas Continue

Today, at village Baupur Jadid, Sant Baba Hakim Singh Ji, while talking to journalists, stated that under the guidance of Sampradai Kar Sewa Sant Baba Tara Singh Ji Sarhali Sahib, the advance temporary embankment of the Beas River, located near the villages Chak Pati Baloo Bahadur, Kishanpur Gharka Mand, Kabirpur, Lodhiwala, Hajipur, Bheem Qadeem, Hazara, Hussainpur Boole, and Thakkar Kaura (falling under Sultanpur Lodhi tehsil, District Kapurthala), is eroding in several places.

At these sites, the Sampradai’s vehicles are daily bringing devotees from different villages to continuously carry out the work of strengthening the embankments. Due to the rising water level of the Beas River, there is an atmosphere of fear among the people, and nearly 25 to 30 villages are under the threat of floods.
