DAV College Amritsar Organizes National Seminar on Sardar Patel's Political Path

The Postgraduate Department of History, DAV College Amritsar, in collaboration with the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), successfully organized a one-day National Seminar on the theme “Sardar Patel's Political Path: Bridging Colonial Resistance and Partition Realities” under the banner of Rashtriya Ekta (National Unity) Seminars on July 25.The seminar aimed to revisit and critically engage with the visionary leadership of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, popularly known as the “Iron Man of India," whose pragmatic strategies bridged the struggle against colonialism and the harsh aftermath of partition.

The event brought together renowned scholars, historians, faculty, and research scholars from across the nation.The programme commenced with the Inaugural Session which began with the lighting of the Deepshikha and the DAV gaan. Dr. Babusha, Head of the PG Department of History and Convener of the seminar, introduced the theme.
