This is not mere pique or casual indiscretion-it carries the tone of a calculated effort to chip away at New Delhi's hard-earned international standing, the very confidence that once declared India immune to the strong-arm tactics of global power politics. The pressing question is: why has a White House that once celebrated "Howdy Modi" now turned to "hammer Modi's India"?
