In reflecting on “Kashmir is overrun by Indians” and reference to “indigenous Kashmiris”, it is opposite to state that Kashmir has been a Hindu homeland since time immemorial.

Hindu cultural imprints and religious importance that have existed millennia before the Islamic invasion, a brutal exercise that began circa 8th century.

Thus, it is historical negationism to suggest that the Kashmir issue is rooted from just seven decades ago, from the time of the partition.

The sustained Islamic invasions and forced conversions would alter the demographics of the religions in Kashmir; this was, incontrovertibly, tantamount to the ethnic cleansing of the indigenous Kashmiri Hindu.
