LIKE many of my generations, I was reared in a time when the prospect of growth and advancement was bleak, especially for people of my ethnicity.
The restrictions imposed by the racist regime had somewhat limited our access to certain resources. Having said that, it afforded others the opportunity to utilise their fair democratic society. It is against this backdrop that I write to congratulate the newly-appointed principal of my former secondary School, Adrien Steed Reddy.
