With the passage of time moments in history can begin to fade.
We can only be thankful that the story of one of history's greatest ever rock and roll artists continues to be kept alive.
Sadly those who know his story will be aware of the tragic loss of this influential rock and roll pioneer at just 22.
Buddy Holly died in 1959, the year I was born, and from my early years the words to such classics as Peggy Sue, Rave On, True Love Ways, and That'll Be The Day, became entrenched.
