Beneficiaries receive food vouchers from Treasury

The festive season can be especially difficult for parents facing financial difficulties, often leaving children watching what should be a time of joy from the sidelines.
These sentiments were echoed by some of the 50 beneficiaries who received food cash vouchers worth R5 000 each from the Department of Treasury, in partnership with Standard Bank, last Thursday.
The initiative benefited 10 recipients in each of Limpopo's five districts, amounting to R250 000 in total.
The programme was launched at the department's offices in Polokwane before officials proceeded to other districts on Thursday and Friday.
