'Leeto beneficiaries to receive R7m'

Permit beneficiaries of Leeto La Polokwane (LLP) are expected to receive a R7m payout from the Polokwane Municipality by Tuesday.
The payout follows council approval last Wednesday, honouring a 12-year-old public-private partnership based on the trading of certain taxi routes for commuter transport services. This payment is the second of three instalments that total R21m over the 12-year period. The first batch was paid at the start of the bus service operation in 2021, with the final instalment set to be paid after the 12-year term.
