In 'n tyd waar gratis en betroubare mediese hulp skaars is, veral op sosiale media, sorg dr. Wilhelm von Ludwig van Medpark 24 dat mense nie net in Limpopo nie, maar regoor die wêreld toegang het tot geloofwaardige inligting.
Met die groei van TikTok as 'n platform vir nuus en vermaak, het hy hierdie medium begin gebruik om gesondheidsadvies te deel in maklik verstaanbare kortvideo's.
"Tydens Covid-19 het ek gesien hoe dokters sosiale media gebruik om met pasiënte te kommunikeer. Ek hou nie van kameras nie, maar het besluit om 'n video oor HIV te maak. Dit het net 100 kykers gehad. Twee dae later het ek een oor griep gemaak, en toe ek die volgende oggend wakker word, was daar al 70 000 kykers. Ek was oorweldig," vertel hy.
