Young Perthshire actors shine at Pitlochry festival

Young Perthshire actors were among those attending a prestigious drama festival at Pitlochry.
The National Theatre Connections Festival 2025, for young actors from Scotland and the Isle of Man, was held at the Perthshire theatre this month.
It featured contributions from Crieff High School pupils and Pitlochry Festival Theatre Young Company.
It was the third year running that Pitlochry had been selected as one of two theatres in Scotland to host the festival.
Pitlochry Festival Theatre's associate director Sam Hardie said: “We were absolutely delighted to have 135 young people from across Scotland and the Isle of Man join us for our NT Connections Festival.
“Seven new plays were performed by the young people, which were all fantastically received.
