Photgraphers' Perth birthplaces are recognised
Blue heritage plaques in honour of two pioneering 19th century Perth photographers have been unveiled.
A ceremony took place at the city's Watergate - where both David Octavius Hill and Jessie Mann were born - on Sunday June 29.
It was attended by photography enthusiasts, art historians, Perth residents and dignitaries.
The plaques at 3 Watergate are part of a proposed initiative to recognise notable city figures.
Jessie Mann (1805-1867) is considered to be Scotland's first female photographer. He Watergate birthplace is now demolished.
